Itinerary for this Tour
Day 1: Johannesburg to Eco Camp & Kruger National Park
On the first day of the 4-day Kruger Park Safari, you will be collected from OR Tambo International Airport and transferred to our eco-friendly camp located on the border of Sabi Sand Game Reserve. The intimate camp is surrounded by the untamed bush, a mere 10-minute drive from the Paul Kruger gate to Kruger National Park.
After freshening up and settling in at camp, we enjoy sundowners at the pool or around the campfire. Then we tuck into a tasty dinner, sampling some classical South African cuisine. After our delicious dinner, we depart on a thrilling night drive in the Kruger National Park. Soak up the sounds and smells of the African bush at night, keeping your eyes open for prowling predators and shy nocturnal creatures, such as porcupines, civets, genets, bats and birds.
Returning to the eco-lodge we retire to our comfortable tented rooms for a well-deserved night’s sleep under the stars.

Day 2: Full Day Kruger National Park Game Drive
Wake up to the sights and sounds of unspoilt bush coming to life as day breaks. After a scrumptious early breakfast in the thatched dining area, we head off for our action-packed day of game viewing in Kruger National Park. The iconic and world famous Kruger National Park is steeped in legend and history. The unspoilt bush is one of the biggest game parks in Africa and is home to almost 150 large mammals, over 500 species of birds and a myriad of plant, insect and reptilian life.
On your full-day game drive, your expert guide navigates the bushveld in an open safari vehicle, searching out the Big Five and abundance of other animals and birds. At the end of our eventful day of exploring Kruger, we return to the nearby eco-camp for cold drinks beside the pool or in the boma, followed by another hearty South African style meal.

Day 3: Full Day Kruger National Park Game Drive
Rising with the African sun, we enjoy an early breakfast at camp before departing for Kruger National Park.
The Kruger National Park is huge and, at over two million hectares, is one of Africas largest game parks. We will journey through the bush in search of the Big Five, lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo as well as other game animals. While you may have a bucket list, Kruger Park is wild and you never know what surprise awaits around the next bushveld bend in the road. We will stop for lunch at one of the many rest camps inside the Kruger Park.
Later, in the evening, enjoy sundowners in our outdoor boma followed by dinner. Relax and enjoy the ambience of the African bush as you recount the sightings from your adventure-filled days in Kruger.

Day 4: Panorama Route Scenic Drive
On the final day of your 4-day Eco Camp Safari, wake up to enjoy a leisurely breakfast.
Today you will travel to OR Tambo airport via Mpumalanga’s majestic Panorama Route which passes through the Blyde River Canyon. Along the way, we visit some of the breathtaking highlights, which include Gods Window, Lisbon Falls and Graskop to mention a few.
We arrive back in Johannesburg at around 5h00 in the afternoon, bringing this authentic Kruger Eco Camp Safari to a close.

About the Eco-Camp
This small tented camp offers an authentic South African safari experience at an excellent price. The affordable eco-camp is located just outside of Kruger National Park, the top game park in the country, and the renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve.
This intimate camp features a handful of safari tents set on raised wooden platforms in the bush. Each tent has its own private bathroom nearby, accessed by a well-lit pathway. The walk-in tents are fitted with fans, power-points, basic furnishings and twin beds, complete with linen. Camp facilities include an open-air boma area with a fire-pit, a swimming pool and a thatched dining area. The camp is constructed of natural materials and canvas and operates on gas and solar power, making it a more eco-friendly alternative to mainstream lodges.
